産業になる前の場所に、早く、小さく入ります。シードステージに特化したピースキャピタルと、自己資金の鳥居キャピタル。情報の非対称が大きく、障壁が制度・地理・言語にあり、先行者が少ない領域だけを選んでいます。

We enter before the industry exists — early and small. Peace Capital, a seed-stage fund, and Torii Capital, our own balance sheet. Only where information asymmetry is large, barriers are institutional, geographic, or linguistic, and few are ahead.

Fusion Energy

核融合が産業になる前の段階を、装置ではなくサプライチェーンの側から研究しています。ジャイロトロン、CVDダイヤモンド窓、REBCO高温超伝導テープ。日本の企業がすでに持っている技術を、核融合の文脈で並べ直す仕事です。

We study fusion before it is an industry — from the supply chain, not the device. Gyrotrons, CVD diamond windows, REBCO tape: technologies Japanese firms already hold, re-read in the context of fusion.

West Africa

日本語で読める一次情報がほとんどない場所に、2025年から通っています。ナイジェリアのラゴス。アニメとゲームの受容は、日本から見えているよりはるかに厚い。現地で見たものを記録し、日本の企業とつなぎ、自分でも売ってみる。

Since 2025 we have travelled to Lagos, a place with almost no primary sources in Japanese. The appetite for anime and games runs deeper than Japan can see. We record what we find, connect Japanese companies to it, and sell things ourselves.

Law & Institutions

規制は事業の形を決めます。2018年に金融商品取引法の登録を取り、2021年に返しました。制度の内側を行きと帰りの両方で通った経験から、制度は与件ではなく設計対象だと考えています。

Regulation decides the shape of a business. We obtained a financial licence in 2018 and returned it in 2021 — through the institution in both directions. Institutions are not givens; they are objects of design.

Philosophy & Ethics

技術は倫理を必要とし、事業は制度を必要とし、そのどちらも言葉にされなければ社会に定着しません。「いかに生きるべきか」「何が善か」という問いを、投資や研究と切り離さずに持ち続けます。

Technology requires ethics, enterprise requires institutions, and neither takes root until it is put into words. We keep the questions — how should we live, what is good — inside the work, not beside it.

Philanthropy

判断の基準を百年に置いています。百年後にも残っていそうな産業、読まれそうな一次情報、閉じたままではいないだろう入口。得られたものを、そこへ戻します。

We set the standard of judgment at a century: industries likely still to exist, sources likely still to be read, doors unlikely still to be shut. What we gain, we return there.
